In the autumn of 2024, I was invited to give a talk as a Goldsmiths alum to second-year students who were at a stage of seeking internships and preparing to enter the professional field. Having gone through the same process myself, I shared how I identified the intersection between my interests and strengths, and how I developed those into a practice that could be applied within the industry.

I also spoke about the practical process of securing my first internship, as well as how I reflected on and organised my experiences afterward. I emphasised the importance of reviewing how one’s perception and sensibilities change after real-world experience, and how this reflection can shape future direction. The session became a space to discuss how personal experiences can be translated into a sustainable, individual creative path.
